MCB Lockout - Universal Type 4

A screw-on lockout for single-pole miniature circuit breakers with handles up to 6 mm thick. It clamps onto the toggle and holds it off for a padlock — the everyday device for isolating one circuit in a domestic or light commercial board.

• For single-pole MCBs with handles up to 6 mm thick
• Non-conductive nylon PA, moulded in one piece
• Screw-on mechanism, tightened with a small screwdriver — it will not shake loose
• Takes a padlock with a shackle up to 8 mm
• Red, for high visibility at the board
• Held in stock in New Zealand

For ganged or multi-pole breakers, use the 2–4 pole device instead — locking one pole of a ganged breaker is not an isolation.
