Shipping policy

Where we ship from

All orders are picked and packed by us in Auckland, New Zealand.

New Zealand rates

- $12.50 — overnight courier, on orders under $400
- Free — on orders of $400 or more

Both figures include GST. The $400 threshold is measured on the order total before
shipping.

Dispatch times

Orders placed before 2pm on a working day are dispatched the same day by overnight
courier. Orders placed after 2pm, or at a weekend or on a public holiday, are dispatched
on the next working day.

Overnight delivery is the courier's target rather than a guarantee, and deliveries to
rural addresses generally take an additional working day. If your work depends on a
delivery date, contact us before ordering and we will tell you what is realistic.

Stock availability

We only sell what we hold. If an item shows as sold out, the website will not let you
order it — we would rather tell you the truth than take payment and leave you waiting.

If you need something that is showing as sold out, email sales@lockouttagout.co.nz or
call 027 266 3751 and ask. We will tell you where it is: we can often air-freight it in
within about a week, there may be an alternative in stock that does the same job, or the
honest answer may be that it will take longer.

Made-to-order items

Keyed-alike padlock sets are manufactured to your key specification and air-freighted
in. Allow approximately one week for delivery. These items can be ordered at any time
and are labelled accordingly at the point of selection. To add padlocks to an existing
keyed-alike set, include your key code in the order notes at checkout.

Larger orders

Orders for a site rather than an individual are usually better handled directly. Contact
us and we will quote, and work through keying schemes, colour-coding and engraved
numbering with you before you commit.

International orders

We ship to a range of countries outside New Zealand. Rates are calculated at checkout.
Any duties, taxes or customs charges levied in the destination country are the
responsibility of the buyer.

Problems with a delivery

If an order arrives damaged, incomplete or not as ordered, contact us as soon as you can
and we will put it right. Nothing in this policy limits your rights under the Consumer
Guarantees Act 1993 or the Fair Trading Act 1986.
