Gas Bottle / Cylinder Lockout 89mm

A gas bottle lockout — also called a gas cylinder lockout — clamping over the bottle valve and neck ring so the valve cannot be opened. Takes up to three padlocks. Heat-resistant polypropylene, yellow.

Used wherever a gas supply forms part of an isolation: welding gas, LPG, process gas and cylinder stores. Turning a bottle off is not an isolation — anyone can turn it back on, and on a live site somebody eventually does.
