Dustproof Steel Shackle Safety Padlock

A dustproof safety padlock — the standard steel-shackle lock with sealing boots on the shackle legs and cover over the keyway, keeping grit and moisture out of the mechanism. In a genuinely dirty plant (quarry, cement, timber, grain, foundry) a packed keyway means a jammed lock, which is a serious problem when it is holding an isolation.

Keying options

• Keyed different (standard) — every padlock has its own unique key. The safe default for personal lockout: your key opens only your lock. Held in stock — first dispatch Wednesday 5 August, then dispatched the day you order.
• Keyed alike — a set of padlocks that all open with the same key. Made to order and air-freighted to your key specification: allow about one week for delivery. Adding locks to an existing set? Put your key code in the order notes at checkout.
